【On the phone 在电话上】
与phone 搭配的动词包括answer, speak on ,talk on。要注意phone之前要有定冠词the。“接听电话”是answer the phone，绝不可误用receive, speak/talk on the phone是“在电话中讲话”。而“你的电话”在英文里绝非your telephone，应说It's for you或You are wanted on the phone。
A: Janet, you are wanted on the phone.
珍妮特，你的电话。
B: I'm sorry. I Just can't answer the phone right now.
抱歉，我现在没有空接电话。
