会议是公司运作及执行计划的重要环节，谈论开会的情况也是同事间闲聊的话题之一，那么，如何跟客户讨论或报告开会的过程或闲聊对于开会的看法呢？
How was it……？怎么样呢？／……的情况怎么样呢？
这个问句经常用来询问他人已经发生的事件之情况或过程如何。
How was it at the concert?
音乐会怎么样呢？
lt's no party…一点意思也没有
我们常会以带着嘲讽的语调说这句话，表示某件事一点儿趣味也没有。
lt's no party over at the Johnson's but a lot of people are still there.
在强森家的聚会相当无趣，但仍旧有许多人还在那儿。
What else could happen…？在……还能有什么其他的事发生呢？
事情的情况已经达到糟糕至极的程度，为了表达不会有更坏的情况出现，我们会说这句话。

Jerry:It's no party.I mean what else could happen at a meeting?We talkerd about some plans in the near future, some ways to cut down costs in the company. I think there will be another meeting tomorrow which you'II need to go to.
