Reading Material
Restaurant Bills
A triplicate captain order should be written， with the original copy to the cashier for recording on the restaurant check， and the second copy to the kitchen or bar after being stamped by cashier. The third copy is kept by the waitress. The guest check is presented upon request. The guest will be given the original copy of the bill for his signature and the original will be retained by the hotel. If the guest insists on having a copy， a photocopy of the bill will be given.
When returning changes， close the check folder and return to him by hand. Never stand there to wait for gratuity. Smile and thank him after presenting the check folder with a copy of the bill. Always double check the billing and make necessary changes before presenting the bill to the host.
