Louise Kursmark: Well, the first step is to decide what are your qualifications for saying that you know, you can do it? Is it just because you have that inherent belief and you trust yourself or is that, that you can break it down into the skills needed for the job not the experience if they are requiring. Go back to what we have talked about the beginning, which is identify the core skills needed for that job and prove that you have them in your resume. Don't worry so much about things like needing X number of years of experience or job titles that you haven't had. Focus on the skills find the experiences that you have that prove you have those skills and you to the best possible job that you can, not making yourself qualified for that resume. Now it's not to say the employer is going to favor you over another candidate who has a relevant experience in that position, but it's a good start.
