Unimax

Unimax is a chromium-molybdenium-vanadium alloyed universal tool steel with an excellent combination of high ductility and high hardness. The exceptional properties offered, enables it to be used in many tooling applications to improve the tool life and productivity.

The exceptional combination of high ductility and high hardness makes Unimax a problem solver in cold work applications such as heavy duty blanking, cold forging, and thread rolling where high chipping resistance is required. Unimax is also perfect when moulding big and complex parts or where the plastic details wear hard on the mould. Actually the bigger mould and the more complex details and moulding conditions the greater is the improvement of the total economy.
