壁画的起源：The Origin of the Murals
壁画（墙纸）起源于古代中国，早在公元前200年，中国人就将米纸粘到墙上。公元105年，蔡伦以破布等纺织品废料为原料发明了造纸术，这就是纸的诞生。公元8世纪，中国人将造纸技术传到了中东。公元10世纪，阿拉伯人在中国造纸技术的基础上，以亚麻纤维取代木头和竹子，制造出品质更好的纸张。公元12世纪，造纸术传播到了欧洲。众所周知最古老的圣女画像可追溯到1418年，如今它馆藏于布鲁塞尔的皇家图书馆中。1481年，Jean Bourdichon为法国国王路易十一世绘制了50卷壁画，画面为蓝色背景上的天使，此后路易国王将便携式的壁画带到他喜欢的任何城堡展示欣赏，而其他的欧洲富人纷纷效仿，这就是壁画被应用的起源。

施工方法：
1、检查待施工墙面是否平整、干净(避免透底)、干燥、坚硬、表面是否有做好清漆或者基膜处理。
2、施工中粘贴墙纸需要使用墙纸专用胶(胶粉+胶浆)，请提前在墙纸经销商处购买备用。
3、打开壁画产品包装，将壁画平铺在干净的地面上一一拼好，查看是否有错漏和瑕疵（以上问题施工后厂家不予退换）。
4、胶水涂布：PVC墙纸可直接把胶水均匀涂布在墙纸背面，待稍干后再按照画面顺序平整裱贴上墙，其施工方法与普通PVC墙纸类似；无纺布/纯纸墙纸因透气性好容易渗透，须把胶水均匀涂布墙壁上并稍干后再将墙纸按照画面顺序平整裱贴上墙；无纺布/纯纸墙纸施工中需特别注意不能污损墙纸表面。
5、大幅面壁画均由多个小幅组成，需要现场施工时进行画面拼接，画面拼接方法请参考下面的示意图；接缝处理须用干净材料隔垫后再用软质压轮压平，然后上下裁切好。
6、施工完毕须关好门窗，夏季保持24-36小时，冬季保持48-60小时，让壁画墙纸胶自然阴干；无纺布/纯纸墙纸施工后，若室内湿度太高则需保持适当的空气流通，以降低环境湿度。
